Siggy Score

78out of 100

A directional trendline built from your check-ins and compared with your own baseline. It is not a diagnosis.

Getting Started

What is Siggy?
Siggy is end-to-end mental health care supervised by clinicians: your diagnosis, your prescriptions, and your daily care, in one system. You talk to Siggy every day about your sleep, mood, and medications, and those check-ins become a single score that shows you and your clinician how treatment is actually going. Behind every conversation is a licensed psychiatric provider from Siggy’s own medical team, who makes all diagnostic, prescribing, and treatment decisions. It is the first continuous measure of mental health, with a full clinic built around it.
Who is Siggy for?
Anyone who has been through it: the 3-month wait, retelling your story to every new provider, the prescription with no follow-up, no idea whether any of it is working. More than half of US counties have no psychiatrist. Siggy is built for all of them.
How do I start?
With a free, anonymous conversation. No account, no card, no name required. You describe what you are dealing with and complete a clinical intake at your own pace. If you continue, a licensed clinician will review your full history and develop your treatment plan with you.
Do I have to give my name to start?
No. The whole intake is anonymous. You describe what you are dealing with and complete the clinical intake with no account, no card, and no name. You provide identifying details only when you decide to sign up and continue with a licensed clinician.
How fast can I see a clinician?
Days, not months. Because your intake occurs before your appointment rather than during it, your first visit can happen sooner and can be spent on treatment decisions instead of history-taking.
Do I need a diagnosis before I sign up?
No. Figuring out the clinical picture is the intake’s job, not yours. Start with whatever you are experiencing; symptoms overlap, and your clinician sorts out what is actually going on.
What conditions does Siggy treat?
Depression, anxiety, ADHD (non-stimulant treatment), OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, insomnia, and burnout. Each has its own page under conditions.
Do I type or talk to Siggy?
Either. Every conversation with Siggy, from your first intake to your daily check-ins, works over chat or voice-to-text. Use whichever is easier in the moment.

The Siggy Score

What is the Siggy Score?
The Siggy Score is a number out of 100 that shows how you are doing in relation to your own baseline. At the start, you and your provider set that baseline. From then on, the Score moves as you do, so you can see which direction your mental health is heading over time rather than trying to recall it visit to visit.
What does Siggy track?
It draws on 5 signals, weighted by clinical significance: your clinical symptoms, treatment engagement and adherence, functional wellbeing, physiological signals like sleep, energy, and appetite, and how consistently you check in.
Is the Score a diagnosis?
No. It is a directional measure, a trendline that you and your care team both see. Diagnosis and every treatment decision belong to your licensed clinician. The Score’s job is to make “is this working?” answerable with data instead of memory.
Why does measuring mental health matter?
Because treatment usually operates blind. Follow-up in traditional psychiatry is often a brief call once a quarter, answered from recollection. Roughly 72% of patients drop off antidepressant treatment in the first 3 months, largely during that unmonitored gap. Continuous measurement enables your clinician to detect an adverse side effect in week 1 rather than month 3.
What does a daily check-in actually look like?
About a minute of conversation over text or voice-to-text: how did you sleep, how is your body feeling, did you take your medication, how is your mood. Plus anything else you want to share. That is it; the Score does the rest.
Is it healthy to see my Siggy Score?
Tracking symptoms over time is an established, evidence-based practice called measurement-based care, and research consistently shows it improves outcomes: problems get caught earlier, medications get adjusted sooner, people do better. It’s one of many ways to contextualize and describe how you might be feeling.

The AI

How is Siggy different from mental health chatbots?
A lot of people are already trying this. 16% of US adults have turned to AI for mental health information or advice in the past year, and 58% of them never followed up with a professional afterward. That gap is the problem Siggy was built to close. A chatbot can be a good listener, but that is where it ends: it cannot diagnose, prescribe, or tell whether you are getting better. Siggy is end-to-end psychiatric care inside the healthcare system, with everything that requires: licensed clinicians on an in-house medical team making every diagnosis and prescription, clinical oversight, insurance coverage in all 50 states, and real accountability. Siggy AI’s job is narrower and more useful: daily check-ins that become a signal your doctor acts on. One more difference: a chatbot’s incentive is to keep you talking. Siggy’s incentive is to get you better, including clinicians taking you off medication when it is time.
Is the AI my doctor?
No. The AI is not a licensed doctor and is never positioned as one. It conducts your intake, handles daily check-ins, and organizes your history for your clinician. Every diagnosis, prescription, and treatment change is made by a licensed human clinician who independently reviews your record.
Is this AI therapy?
Siggy supports the daily work in your clinician-led treatment plan with CBT-based exercises, somatic regulation practices, and skills modules matched to what you are working on. The AI is not a licensed therapist or doctor, and it does not make clinical decisions.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
Clinicians can see exactly what information and reasoning sat behind any AI-prepared suggestion, and can override it. A clinician conversation follows every AI-prepared summary before any prescription is written. AI-prepared material is input to human judgment, never a substitute for it. See more details on our AI-assisted care page.
Is Siggy FDA-approved?
Siggy is not a medical device. It is psychiatric care in which AI compiles and aggregates patient-provided data that licensed clinicians review and use to make all medical decisions, under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist. Siggy also operates with an independent oversight board of medical, regulatory, and ethical advisors. The AI presents information and options for clinician consideration; it does not issue directives or execute orders.

Clinical Care

Who are the clinicians?
Licensed psychiatric providers employed by Siggy, not marketplace contractors. The medical team is led by Chief Medical Officer Daniel Montville, MD, who trained at Mayo Clinic, with clinicians trained at Yale School of Medicine, the University of Chicago, and Mercy University.
Will I have my own provider?
Yes. You are cared for by a dedicated, licensed provider who stays with you, knows your history, and reviews your daily data. When you want to talk, you book a time on your provider’s calendar during their hours, 8 am to 6 pm in your local time on business days. If you message them outside those hours, they respond during business hours on the next business day. You will not retell your story to a new face every visit.
When can I reach my provider?
Siggy’s daily check-ins run anytime, so the AI side is always there. Your provider is a human, available from 8 am to 6 pm in your local time on business days. When you want to speak with your provider, you are routed to their calendar to book a time. If you send a message that needs a provider response outside those hours, your provider replies during business hours on the next business day. For anything urgent, Siggy is not a crisis service: call or text 988 (veterans press 1), or call 911 if you are in immediate danger.
How does medication prescribing work?
Carefully. Doses start low, never at maximum, with weekly clinician check-ins for your first 8 weeks. Your clinician adjusts based on your actual daily data, not on what you can recall months later. If medication is part of your plan, it is sent electronically to your local pharmacy.
Can Siggy help me get off medication eventually?
When you and your clinician decide you are ready, yes: tapering is clinician-led, gradual, and informed by your data. Siggy is not anti-medication; medication is an essential tool for many people. The point is that someone is watching whether it is doing its job, in both directions.
Does Siggy prescribe controlled substances?
No. No benzodiazepines, no stimulants, no controlled sleep medications. For the conditions we treat, non-controlled options are what major clinical guidelines recommend first anyway, and where a controlled medication is genuinely the right treatment, we say so and help you find appropriate in-person care. Details on the treatments page.
How is Siggy different from other online psychiatry?
Telehealth solved the appointment; you can see someone and get a prescription. However, treatment often succeeds or fails between appointments, and that is the part nobody built. Siggy is the full clinic, wrapped around a continuous measure: your provider, your prescriptions, your daily care, and your progress, all in one place.
Does Siggy handle bloodwork and lab monitoring?
Yes, and for some medications it is not optional. Lithium requires blood-level checks, and medications like valproate and certain antipsychotics call for periodic kidney, thyroid, or metabolic panels. If clinically indicated, your clinician orders the labs, you complete the draw at a local lab like LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics, and the results go straight to your provider, who reviews them with you and adjusts treatment as needed. Monitoring is scheduled into your plan from the start, not left for you to remember.
What if I need care Siggy doesn’t provide?
Then Siggy says so and helps get you there. That includes resources for diagnosis-specific therapy, local psychiatric care if your treatment plan calls for a higher level of care, sleep studies when the picture points to something like sleep apnea, and coordination with your primary care doctor when a symptom needs a medical workup. Your intake summary and history travel with you, so you never start over.

Cost and Insurance

How much does Siggy cost?
Starting is free: intake, assessment, and treatment plan options. The full platform is a monthly membership, covered by insurance and HSA/FSA eligible. You see your specific coverage during the anonymous intake, before you book anything.
Do you take my insurance?
Siggy is covered by insurance in all 50 states, including Medicare Advantage. Your exact coverage shows in the free intake chat.
Is therapy included?
Yes. Your clinician sets your treatment plan, and Siggy guides you through CBT-based exercises, somatic regulation practices, and skills modules between visits. You can use them as often as you need.

Veterans

Is Siggy really free for veterans?
Siggy offers psychiatric care to eligible veterans at no cost. Eligibility is confirmed during intake. Details on the veterans page.
Why free for veterans?
Because roughly half of veterans who need mental health care never receive it, and cost and waiting are two of the most fixable reasons. We removed both.

Privacy and Data

Is my information private?
Yes. Your conversations with Siggy are encrypted, and your information is protected as health data under HIPAA. Your chats are never used to train other AI models, and your data is never sold. Learn more here.
Can other people see my care information?
Only if you choose. Nothing is shared with family, employers, or outside providers without your explicit permission.

Safety and Crisis

Is Siggy a crisis service?
No, and it tells every patient so explicitly. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (veterans press 1), or call 911 in immediate danger. Our crisis resources page has the full list.
What happens if I say something concerning in a check-in?
Siggy is not a crisis service and the AI does not manage emergencies. If you need immediate help, call or text 988, or call 911 if you are in immediate danger.
Is AI safe for people who are struggling?
The AI supports preparation and check-ins; a licensed clinician makes every diagnosis, prescription, and treatment decision. Siggy is not a crisis service, and the AI does not manage emergencies.
